Creative Cities

Jointly organised by the Council of Europe and EAHTR, the European Symposium “Creative Cities” will take place in Bydgoszcz on 19th September. The Final Programme and more information will be available soon.

During the COE’s Meeting of the Committee on Culture and Education, held in Bydgoszcz on 18th September, Brian Smith, Secretary General of EAHTR, will also present the “Sustainable Tourism Guidelines”.

Visit to Vilnius

Vilnius welcomed 37 representatives from 12 countries for a study visit and workshop on the theme “European Historic Cities and Their Policies for Cultural Heritage”. As well as Vilnius, the study visit included guided tours of Riga in Latvia and Tallinn in Estonia. A round table discussion was also part of the workshop. Findings will be published in due course.
